This study aims to determine the effect of planting media and the provision of root growth regulators on the growth of pomelo plant cuttings. The study was conducted in Setren Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro in January-March 2024. The study was arranged using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is the planting media with 3 levels of soil treatment + rice husk charcoal + cow manure (1:1:1), (1:2:1), and (1:1:2). While the second factor is the provision of Rootone-F with 2 levels of treatment 0 and 2 grams. Observation parameters include when shoots appear, number of shoots, shoot height, number of roots, and root length. The best combination treatment results were obtained from the M3R1 treatment (soil + rice husk charcoal + cow manure 1:1:2 and Rootone-F 2 grams).
2024-11-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Indah Yuliani, Widiwurjani Widiwurjani https://agrocentrum.upnjatim.ac.id/index.php/agrocentrum/article/view/27 Keanekargaman Artropoda Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.) The importance of rice plants in cultivation cannot be underestimated, considering that more than half of Indonesia's population depends on this plant as a staple food. The problem is, each rice cultivation activity is closely related to the role of arthropods, both positive and negative roles. This study was conducted in conventional and organic rice fields in Brenjonk village with an altitude of 800 meters above sea level with an area of 600m² slowly. The research method applied during the study was the survey method or exploration method through plant selection with purposive sampling. Research parameters were obtained through direct observation of arthropods, pitfall traps, yellow sticky traps, sweep nets, and light traps. Insect identification was carried out using literature studies with naturalist applications and insect introduction books. The results of the observations showed that arthropods were found to act as pests, predators, parasitoids, pollinators and decomposers with a diversity index (H') of insects on land A (conventional) of 0.332 and land B (organic) of 0.358, the category is classified as low diversity.
2024-11-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Yoyong Ardiansyah https://agrocentrum.upnjatim.ac.id/index.php/agrocentrum/article/view/46 Analisis Residu Pestisida dalam Buah Cabai Rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) di Pasar Keputran Surabaya 2024-11-18T03:53:36+00:00 Ken Sari Nimas Pramhesti kensarinp@gmail.com Dwi Haryanta dwi_haryanta@uwks.ac.id Achmadi Susilo achmadisusilo@uwks.ac.id
The use of pesticides is often the primary choice to protect chili pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.) from damage caused by pests and diseases. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of pesticides can lead to pesticide residues adhering to the chili peppers (Capsicum frutescens L.). This research is descriptive quantitative, involving a laboratory experiment that uses gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to measure the amount of pesticide residues on chili peppers (Capsicum frutescens L.). The study found that insecticides with active ingredients Chlorpyrifos and Profenofos are the most frequently used by farmers, with applications occurring twice a week. The levels of pesticide residues on chili peppers (Capsicum frutescens L.) show significant variation among samples. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that: the average residue level of Chlorpyrifos on chili peppers sold at Keputran Surabaya market is 3.13 ppm, while Profenofos has an average of 3.25 ppm. Furthermore, the average residue level of Chlorpyrifos in the chili pepper samples from Keputran Market in Surabaya exceeds the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) established by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), which is 0.5 ppm. Additionally, the average residue level of Profenofos also exceeds the established MRL, which is 2.0 ppm.
2024-11-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Ken Sari Nimas Pramhesti, Dwi Haryanta, Achmadi Susilo https://agrocentrum.upnjatim.ac.id/index.php/agrocentrum/article/view/45 Evaluasi Kultivar Apel dan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (Sitokinin-Auksin) Terhadap Tingkat Keberhasilan Eksplan Apel Secara In Vitro 2024-11-18T03:53:01+00:00 Careca Sepdihan Rahmat Hidayatullah carecasepdihan@gmail.com Untung Santoso untungsantoso@umm.ac.id Fatimah Nursandi fatimahnursanti@umm.ac.id Rich Gemilang Simanjuntak rich_gemilang.fp@upnjatim.ac.id Oentari Priliraningrum oentari_p.fp@upnjatim.ac.id
Successful in vitro propagation can support the provision of large, fast and highquality apple seeds. Growth regulators commonly used in culture techniques are cytokinins and auxins. the addition of 4 ppm BAP to the culture media can increase the lipid content and biomass 1.26 times higher in microalgae. This study aims to evaluate the ability of apple cultivars and the growth regulators BAP (Benzyl amino purine) and IAA (Indole acetic acid) to regenerate apple shoots in vitro. The experimental design used RAK (randomized block design) 2 factors. The first factor was shoots from four apple cultivars, namely Fuji, Red delicious, gala, and manalagi. The media used were 1) MS + 3 mg/L BAP + 0.2 mg/L IAA, 2) MS + 6 mg/L BAP + 0.2 mg/L IAA, 3) MS + 3 mg/L BAP + 0.3 mg/L IAA, and 4) MS + 6 mg/L BAP + 0.3 mg/L IAA. Based on the percentage of live explants, apple shoots show a relatively high level of success in the Fuji apple cultivar for all BAP-IAA growth regulator compositions, namely 3 mg/L BAP + 0.2 mg/L IAA, 6 mg/L BAP + 0.2 mg/L IAA, 3 mg/L BAP + 0.3 mg/L IAA, and 6 mg/L BAP + 0.3 mg/L IAA. Apple cultivars and growth regulators did not show a significant effect on the percentage of live explants, green color of shoots, explant contamination and number of leaves. There is a need for further studies regarding the type of explant with the right type of cytokinin hormone to regenerate green shoots more optimally.
2024-11-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Careca Sepdihan Rahmat Hidayatullah https://agrocentrum.upnjatim.ac.id/index.php/agrocentrum/article/view/40 Evaluasi Kesuburan Tanah pada Berbagai Penggunaan Lahan di Kecamatan Tikung Kabupaten Lamongan 2024-11-18T03:50:13+00:00 Hifzan Rashif Hamzah 17025010168@student.upnjatim.ac.id Purnomo Edi Sasongko purnomoedis@upnjatim.ac.id Purwadi Purwadi purwadi@upnjatim.ac.id
Evaluation of land capability is an effort to utilize land according to its potential.
